Good morning! Its a bright day around here today. The sun is pouring into the windows making the house so nice and warm. Each cat has found a spot in that sun to lay and doze off! I woke up early this morning and as I type this I am enjoying some grapefruit. Oh my.. its so good. I seriously think grapefruit gets a bad wrap. My way of fixing it is amazing.. I showed you how to do it here and keep in mind you can use sugar as I do or any sweetener that you like! However, I found a new recipe for a BAKED grapefruit that I will have to get posted soon because its thats good! Jackson even had one just a few minutes ago! If that picky eater liked it then I know it will be a hit with everyone!
I actually think my little Jackson is ready for school to start. We still have

days left before he starts school. Brittany can't believe that he doesn't start till basically the end of the month. Being Jakson is the only one here now, I think hes a little lonely. Scott and I both spend a lot of time with him but I don't spend every minute with him because I still have a home to maintain and things to do around here. I am kinda ready for it to start too. Right now Jackson is just on a " open " schedule and I want it more structured for him because I think it will be better for him.
I am also really wanting fall to come around so we can break out the sweaters and cozy clothes! I swear I think fall is my favorite time of year. I guess its a tie because I also love spring because after the long cold winter.. its nice to see stuff blooming but fall is my absolute favorite! Jackson has a ton of cute fall and winter clothes that I know he will look adorable in going to school!
I was up at 7am this morning talking to Brittany who is doing really well getting up and getting ready for school. When I rang her around 7am she answered and told me she had been up for about 20 minutes and just getting out of the shower. I am proud of her because I just didn't think she would get up on her own!
Guess what I just heard on the news..
is going to start trying out serving breakfast items after midnight. I LOVE IT! I don't know much more about it or if every late night Mickey D's will do this or not but I think its a great idea! I can promise you if they do it around here, I will be one of the customers who sometimes stops in for a big breakfast in the late hours! I would love to hear from you if they are doing this already in your area! Let me know if they are only serving certain items or if the entire breakfast menu is being served!
