Hello friends! We made it from North Carolina to Indiana and now we are heading back to North Carolina and are stopped for the night in Lexington KY. We are at a really nice hotel that I pricelined. I am totally happy to be in for the night. We have already been to the pool and hot tub, had showers, had snacks and now I am finally able to sit back and relax for the rest of the night.
The ride wasn't too bad either! It was about 7 1/2 hours. We didn't even leave the house until 1030.
I didn't take a lot of pictures.. Brittany was upset the entire way so I wasn't about to put a camera in her face and I ended up sleeping a lot of the way. Jackson sat back and watched a couple movies and before we knew it we were
Crossing the bridge into Indiana.
We weren't in that state for 30 minutes before we were back to Kentucky for dinner with Scott's...
Brother & Sister. We were there for only about an hour before we gave everyone hugs and kisses and we were off again!
Jackson has done pretty well on this trip. Hes sound asleep right now.. which is good. Even though your not doing anything, car trips are exhausting. My entire body hurts and I think a good nights sleep should do wonders with that.
We should be home late afternoon sometime... which is good because the housesitter is off on his own vacation tomorrow night.. so we have to hurry back.
I will be updating the pages above with this weeks drugstores steals tonight while I am laying around but if you haven't seen them yet you can click here.
We plan on getting up and having breakfast here at the hotel ( I like to find hotels with hot breakfast included on the price.. better for a family ) and this hotel has eggs, sausage and biscuits, and a bunch of other stuff. Thankfully its open till 10am so I am sure we will be hitting the road about 10ish.
