Happy Friday to you all! I am sure many of you are excited about the weekend! I am just waking up and I am happy because I actually got some sleep! I have been having trouble staying asleep.. Even this morning Scott woke me up some how and I was lucky to be able to go back to sleep. I sure needed it but my dreams were crazy. Not nightmares but dreams about the kids and husby. Wild dreams but it always feel better when I wake up and realize it was just a dream!
The boys are playing video games down stairs and being pretty good. We already checked the rock candy and its going great!!!!! Its growing.. not much.. but it is growing! I am totally excited about it too.. I am sure the dentist are going to hate all the sugar we plan on eating but hey.. how often do you make rock candy!? If I was allowed I would probably make it in the fall too and hand it out for Halloween or for a party at Jackson's school. But things are so different now. When I was in private school we didn't have those issues. My family made all kinds of things and took them in for the class but now it has to be store bought.. wrapped up.. and all the fun has been taken out of it. I don't think its right.. but I do understand why.
Also somehow I managed to get my hair done yesterday. Well.. I got it died anyway. I don't see the point in going and getting it foiled and colored at the salon for close to a $100 when I can do it right here at home for a fraction of the cost. I also cut my own hair which is a pain in the ass but I seem to do better than cutting my own hair.. including the back than anyone else. I hate going to get it cut and it getting messed up. Last time I went and got it cut.. they chopped it off and I about died!
In just a little while we are heading out to get Zane a pair of shoes and maybe grab some lunch. We are not doing much else except coming home and working around here. Should be a quick shopping trip! And we may stop in and see husby!
