Yesterday we decided to go to the river thats pretty much on the boarder between North Carolina and South Carolina.. We had not been there before and I would go over the bridge from time to time and see all the kids in the water playing.. it reminded me a lot of the area in Ohio that we lived in. You can see one of those post here!! that we use to take the dog to swim.. and even the kids to play in it.

The boys were a little nervous at first but Cooper led the way!
I was doing my best to get to a area in the middle with my phone in hand.. Yea.. Seriously should have thought to bring a baggie with me but I did manage to get across that very bumpy river with my phone in hand!

It was full of rocks but they were huge rocks that were easier to walk over.
It didn't take long for the boys to really start having fun..
while I took in the beauty. It was amazing out there.
Its hard to get the kids to understand beauty in nature at their age. They don't care how pretty it is or the wonders in any of it.. but I thought it was seriously one of the most beautiful places ever.

We thought it would be a great family day but it really became Coopers Day..

This was seriously the dogs day out.. He loved every minute of it..
I thought it was nice to give him that fun day.. We all loved it but I know Cooper loved it more than anyone of us! I know we will have to take him back.. It was a huge park on the side of the river and I don't know if I would totally feel safe without Scott there with me but I plan on going back.. It was great!

We are missing Brittany Belle.. Its not the same without her! I am so blessed with a beautiful family from the little kids to the big kids, to our sweet grandchildren. I wanted my own family for many years.. and its not the way I saw it in the beginning.. but its better than I dreamed! We all fit together like puzzle pieces!
It was a great day!
