We finally checked in.. and right now we are trying to get the boys asleep. It doesn't seem to be proving to be easy. Both can't seem to stop talking long enough to close their eyes! We all got showers.. and then I realized that I forgot my sleeping pills.. NOT GOOD. So I took off to the store and found an alternative.
I will let you know how well this works. I have been wanting to try it anyway.. so tonight is the night!
We drove forever it seemed. Neither or husby or I felt like going into a restrauant looking like shit. Yep.. we looked terrible after being in the car for hours end.. so tonight it was
simple Wendy's. Have you tried the chili cheese fries there yet?
I looooove them!! Yummy Yummy!
And it was easy to get in and out of. I just didn't feel cleaned up enough to go in anywhere. But I settled on Wendy's anyway because we needed food.
The boys have been really good. Jackson fell
asleep.. shocker..
and Zane played kept himself busy..
All while an exhausted husby drove us and far as he could.
Once we got through Atlanta..
And BTW.. the city was so pretty at dusk.. Husby couldn't make it any further so I swtitched seats with him and drove for a while.. and thankfully it wasn't long before we got to the hotel. We all need some time outside that car. We have at least 6 hours to go tomorrow. I will be so happy to get this long drive over. I guess Zanes mom has a car she wants Scott to look at for her. I guess she forgot he sells cars not works on them. Anyway, hopefully that will go really fast, because the last thing either of us want to do is hang around longer when we have a very long ride home to make. He didn't sound too happy when she asked him.. but whatever.. we will make it super fast and be back on the road in no time.
Well, it seems all the boys in this room are sound asleep.. so I am going to join them!
