Another long day.. another exhausting night! But I say it with a =) on my face!! It was a pretty good day.. an easy day at home for the kids.. not so easy for me. I had a ton of things to do around the house, and some how I managed to get most of them done. I won't lie.. I took MANY breaks but who cares as long as you get it all done right!?

I am still working the lake pictures.. and there are so many...and being I was having camera issues yesterday, I actually uploaded 3 sets of them.. Yea.. tons and tons of pictures to go through and get posted..
I did want to do a weekend in review but it would have been super long anyway.. But I did want to share a part of our Fathers Day with you guys..
After we
loaded up the boat and headed home..
the kids had a little celebration for him with a
lit up cookie cake! Any excuse we have to put a candle on the cake.. we do it!!
They took their little gifts to him
and put his big cookie down to him.
and husby made his
Fathers Day wish! I didn't plan this.. we went to the grocery store and the Jackson picked out the cookie!! I just lit the candles and stood out of the way! I think this has to be one of the best Fathers Day husby has had in a long time.. I just wanted to share!
Anyway, it was a day of lesuire for the kids..
Jackson and Zane had a game of basketball with Nathan ( friend a few houses down ) and I was
surprised at how well they were playing!
They also had some putting practice. I rolled out the little green
and let them go at it!
Both did pretty well at this too!
And Super Cooper was right in on watching the action too!
I was so lucky tonight because husby brought home 2 big pizzas and I didn't have to cook!
Brittany and her friend were playing when he showed up so she stayed for dinner too! I am not such a fan of pizza but I had one slice and snacked the rest of the night!
Tomorrow/today we are heading out to Lake Lure!!! Do you guys remember when we went there last year?

It was so much fun!!
We hiked up to the top of
Chimey Rock and spent the entire day there.. It was where Dirty Dancing was filmed and its absolutely beautiful there. So tonight I did some more shopping, got the bags packed.. the cooler packed with food and ice already.. 2 meals are planned.. I prefer when taking so many kids that its best to take a cooler with food instead of paying for big meals out. These kind of " vacation " days are more budget friendly.. It will still cost about $100 to get into the beach.. go hiking.. YES.. they charge for hiking.. I think thats ridiculous.. but whatever.. I'll pay it plus I had a pretty big bill at the store tonight. But its still cheep for 5 people and a full days worth of entertainment!
I don't know what time we are leaving.. Probably about 11 or so.. It will take an hour or so to get there.. so I don't plan on doing much blogging tomorrow. I will try to upload some pictures on facebook and Instagram though out the day but it will be quiet around here till tomorrow night because we are getting out and making some great memories! I also want to save my battery for mostly pictures on my phone.. so there won't be contact from me most of the day.
I will have to 2 completely different lake posts coming up soon! We are not taking the boat this time.. Instead we are packing up the mini van and on this trip we are hiking exploring the woods and waterfalls and then playing at the beach later in the afternoon!
I don't think it is going to be easy either.. I am tired.. my back hurts from the boat on the lake the other day and now I am going to take on another long day outdoors so I am sure tomorrow night I am going to be totally exhausted so I need some sleep asap!
