Parenting was so hard yesterday.. If you didn't see my looong post about it all from last night you can click here. It was a hard hard day around here till my Super Scott got here and saved the day! From that post, I woke up to a handful of emails telling me it was totally normal for the kids to act like crazy terrors and to just keep going. I swear.. I love you guys so much. Thank you for those kind emails encouraging me to shake it off and go on.. because those days come around for all families. I totally appreciate those emails. I read them right from my bed this morning and before my feet hit the floor.. I felt inspired to start today with a smile and not carry yesterdays drama over to this beautiful summer Wednesday! Thanks again for sending those emails in. They truly touched my ♥.
Well I got some sleep.. so much sleep that I totally missed traffic court!! Ha! Thank goodness for my lawyer going. Scott and I had planned on going all week.. and both of us forgot it.. So for my 2 tickets.. everything was dropped to 2 non moving violations and I have to pay around $500 in court cost on both tickets which totally sucks but all my court appearances are done and I couldn't be happier! =) At least thats another good start to my Wednesday!
I have no idea what is going on today... I have a bunch of stuff to do and I think I am going to take the kids to the dealership today to see husby. He forgot a couple things and wants me to bring them to him... which is ok.. because the kids love it there anyway. I have a lot of stuff to get ready for the kids weekend at Courtneys.. I am even thinking about starting to pack up the trunk with stuff that I can go ahead an pack such as sleeping bags and pillows. Brittany is totally excited and this morning we had a long talk about manners and the right way to act while they are there. I think both kids will totally mind their manners because they know that it would be a 10 trip one way if not and neither of them want that!
Husby is totally excited about picking up Zane for the summer. I won't lie.. adding one more 9 year old to the bunch makes me a little nervous.. but we are going to welcome him into our home with love and include him in our busy summer! =)
I am going to work on some coupon posts and then get cleaned up. I am so thankful its been an easy start to the day around here! And I am totally happy that its an early night for Scott!
