So I know I don't normally do this but my friend Courtney works for a health branding and entertainment firm that specializes in Unique Healthcare Platforms with Sports & Celebrity Tie-Ins. Their largest Campaign, On The Line, is a Prostate Cancer Education and Awareness Campaign that's partnered with ESPN. Since Father's Day is this Sunday, I thought Id take a moment to tell you guys about the HUGE push Courtney's Work is doing to promote awareness about Prostate Cancer & to Honor Celeb Dads.
On The Line is launching a powerful rally to the public this Father's Day. The goal is to raise awareness and encourage men to talk about the disease, which 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with in his lifetime. The platform is "The Big Daddy Awards," the first-ever online awards show designed to honor the 70 million Fathers in America, while raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer programs and research for a cure.
Who made the list of nominees? Dads…the Big Daddies. The ones who make us laugh. The ones we cheer for from the stands. The ones who inspire us on the silver screen. The ones that are the best at what they do.
Thus presenting the FIRST-EVER 2012 Big Daddy Awards - Tons of Celeb Dads have been nominated in different categories and for the past two weeks Courtney and her coworkers have been working non-stop around the clock to reach out to these Celeb Dads & their Fans to encourage everyone to vote while supporting a GREAT cause.
