This is a warm light brown, a little like a very light milk chocolate candy color, and it has flecks of gold shimmer in addition to the silver shimmer from the rivets around the edges. The silver is overspray, so it will disappear after a few uses.. as you can tell in the picture above.

As you can see this compact is also

lighted. Which is pretty neat.. However the lights are pretty bright. It does not automatically come on when you open the compact.. which is good. You have to turn it on with a little switch so I don't think you have to sorry that much about it dying out on you.

This brush is a better brush that Physicians Formula has had in the past but I don't use these kind of brushes often. I either keep them in the product where it came; just in case I need it. Or I give them to my daughter. These newer brushes that are included are a bit denser, they do shed some, but in a pinch is better than nothing.

I love the idea of any powder bronzer or blush adjusting to the ph of your skin making it the perfect shade for you. I however, don't think any blush or bronzer can do that. I did a big swatch here on the inside of my wrist.. and as you can see its pretty orangy. I did a apply a lot for it to show up on here but I can wear it.. My face is darker than the inside of my wrist and this blends into the skin just fine for me. Just don't be heavy with your hand when applying bronzer. Its best to go a little light and build up instead of adding too much and then trying to blend it out.

I think the packaging on these are pretty cool with the LED lights but its really bright and will blind you if your not careful. The brush is just ok.. but better than what it use to be. And lets just face it.. this does nothing in the form of changing due to your ph. Its less expensive than the Stila Custom Color Blush (a similar pH-reactive product). But I suspect. the Stila is pretty much the same.   I know that makeup can't actually sense what color your skin is an choose to turn a shade that compliments it. But, still... I love a good gimmick and I was very excited to try this.

Over All I am giving this product a

C+
because I like the concept and I like the packaging.. the bronzer is soft and blendable texture with a sheer but buildable color. I still am loving my Chanel Cream Bronzer but I do reach for this one often. The shimmer is not too much and after using it for less than a week the sliver rivets went away.

Have you tried any of the Physicians Formula PH Matchmaker Products?? I would love to hear your thoughts!
