Well, Maryl Streep did it again.. She makes such phenomenal movies..this one was no different. It is a story of Margaret Thatcher who was the British Prime Minister. She was a very strong powerful woman and even though I didn't agree with all her views, I do respect her. This movie plays back to memories and it also shows the decline of Mrs. Thatcher. I found it kinda sad and also powerful.
A lot of people were not happy about an American playing this part.. but she did such a good job that I can't see why it would be a big deal. So what she isn't British.. She made a very good movie and they should be proud. I personally love when they are sewing her in her dress. And I love her pearls and the meaning behind them.

This is one of the greatest impersonations I'd ever seen — but one that was also emotionally real. I really respected the love she had for her husband. They bickered like all married couples .. which I enjoyed watching.. but they were extremely loyal to each other. I also loved how the finally left the movie. Very touching.
Don't miss out on seeing this movie. Its one of the best movies of the year! Its not only to know our history but the history of the world.. and Margaret Thatcher certainly has her place in Brittan's history.
