Back around to Monday. Its a long day around here with it being a late night for husby. I guess it should give me plenty of time to get things done around here today. The house isn't too bad but I do have to do my regular Monday cleaning in a bit. Don't really feel like cleaning right now but I am hoping that this
espresso wakes me up some.I have been up since about 11am but I have just been laying around...watching the news, playing with the animals and just thinking about my day. Nothing too exciting! I think I am still in a haze from all that good food we had last night! How many of you ate like it was Thanksgiving yesterday!? All that food made me lazy! It took everything I had to clean the kitchen last night. I was watching Oprah's Next Chapter last night with Bishop T.D. Jakes ( He did have some very inspirational things to say ) and cleaned the dining room and kitchen during the commericals. If I could have, I would have let it all just sit there till today.. However, the cats would have devoured every bit of Easter dinner, if I would have done that! I like left overs so had to get it all put up! That also meant that I had to clean out the frig to make room.. which I HATE doing!
I have decided to add another week to area 2 for the Spring Cleaning Challenge. From the emails flowing in, I can only assume that we all need a little more time to get it cleaned up. Plus with yesterday being a holiday didn't help either. For me.. the kitchen isn't too bad but my pantry is a mess and I really need to take some time to get it organized this week. I will be doing a Tuesday Tips and Tricks tomorrow but I am streching area 2 out for another week. Here is the full detailed cleaning list for the kitchen..
Remember to declutter the area first. Take 15 -20 minutes before you start really cleaning. It really helps to get everything out of your way before starting!
