Hello friends!
Hope you are having a great weekend. I am kinda being lazy around here today. I got up about 11am and haven't done much at all besides drink coffee, watch the news and send out some emails. I drank a half bottle of that cold medicine last night and did wake up feeling a little better. I am still not 100% but I am a bit better. Sweet Brittany asked on facebook yesterday to ~ pray for her mom ~ to help me get over the flu. I am so happy that I have done my best to instill praying with her. She does pray and it makes me proud. The power of prayer is unbelievable.. and works.. She seems to be wiser than most 10 year olds.. but that makes it harder at times too!
No big plans today except to tinker around the house and wait on husby to get home. That big basketball game is happening tonight and I am sure Michael and Scott will be here drinking and screaming at the tv. I think last night they both were a little hammered too. I think they drank a little on the golf course and then came home and opened some more beers. When husby went to bed he was slurring! He would never admit that he had too much to drink.. and its not always easy to tell with husby if he is drunk or not.. he hides it well ( most of the time! ). Anyway, while the game is on I am going to get my nails done. Then come home and clean my bedroom and bathroom.. plus work on laundry.
I don't think I will be doing much today. I just don't want to over do it. This past week I have been feeling horrible and I am happy that I don't feel as bad today. Speaking of today.. my grandmother is moving back into her own apartment today. She has been having health problems and moved in with my uncle and decided she wanted to go back to her own apartment. I can't say I blame her. I am super worried about her being on her own.. but I understand not wanting to live with someone else. I haven't called because I am sure she is busy but I hope to talk to her tonight and make sure she got moved in ok.
