Review: SWEET LEAF SWEET TEA

Sunday, March 18, 2012
So the other day I got a can of this

Organic Sweet Leaf Sweet Tea.

So I thought it would be perfect to try out and review!

I paid about $1.50 for this large can at my local convenient store.

Sweet Leaf Tea is located in Texas and committed to making delicious organic teas. When they started out in 1998 they were putting the tea leaves in pillowcases and filling the bottles up by hand. Since then the company has taken off and you can find over 11 different flavors in your local stores.

The only ingredients in this sweet tea are filtered water, organic cane sugar, organic black tea and citrus acid.

The tea itself is a true sweet tea that is lightly sweet. In my opinon, it is just the right amount of sweetness. Not so sweet all you taste is sugar. There is no bitter after taste like there is sometimes with tea. I do tend to like sweeter teas a bit more, but I found with this one.. that I really tasted the black tea and I love that too.
I give this tea an

B
Because it is a very good charming tea! I think the citric acid flavoring my be lemon but I can vaguely taste it. I drank 1/2 the can during the day.. and then put it in the frig and decided to warm it up later in the night. I know, not the best thing to do but it tasted great. I did add a spoon of sugar and it was just as good warmed.

Have any of you tried any of the teas from this line? I'd love to hear from you!
