Afternoon everyone!
I don't have very long to get this post done. Jerred and I are heading out for a late brunch in just a few minutes. I told him I would be ready at 1230 so that gives me about 20 minutes. Good thing I am already dressed for the day... and since its Saturday I am stepping out in some
comfy sweats. I figure its Saturday so what the hell.. and we are just going to eat so what does it matter!?
No big plans for today. I just plan on coming back here and working on laundry. Its pretty sunny out right now so I might end up hanging some out. Michael is going to be coming home soon, gathering up what he needs and taking off for Ohio to go be with his family for his grandmothers funeral. I don't think he will be back to work till Tuesday or Wednesday. I thought about Scott and I going with him but I figure he will be surrounded by family and they will look after him.. so we are staying put.
Ha! Jerred is downstairs singing like a little bird right now. I know a lot of you guys have asked how we are doing with the kids ( the older kids ) being here.. and to be very honest, we are doing good. Jerred isn't much trouble.. and Laura is back in Indiana till spring break. But what I have got to say about them is really simple..Scott and I have a bunch of children together ( 6 total ) and not everyday they are here and around but our doors are always open to our kids. I love the definition that in our family...NO ONE GETS LEFT BEHIND. We love them all and anytime one of the kids needs our help or wants to come stay for as long as they like, our doors are open.
We love the kids and we will always make room for them. It wouldn't matter if we had a 1 bedroom apartment.. we would make room for any or all of the kids.
Well, he is waiting, so I got to go!
