Hello friends.. I have been wanting to get this review up for a couple days and I have finally got the time!! So this is the Gariner Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B.Cream.
Gariner claims
This BB Cream comes in two shades: Light/Medium and Medium/Dark and claims to
even out, tone, boost glow, blur imperfections, smooth fine lines, provide 24
hour hydration, and provide SPF 15. All in which sounds nice, but if you were to
tell me those were the properties, I would think you are selling me a radiance
glow tinted moisturizer, not a BB Cream (which often has more healing and long
term beneficial properties).

I know many people don't really understand what a BB cream is so here is the Wikipedia definition..
BB cream, also known as Blemish Balm, Blemish Base or Beblesh Balm, is a cosmetic item sold mainly in East and Southeast Asia, [ although larger beauty brands are increasingly transferring BB creams to European markets as well.
Originally formulated in Germany by Dr. med. Christine Schrammek in 1967 it was initially used by dermatologists to help laser surgery patients protect, soothe and refine highly sensitive skin while providing light coverage for post-laser scars, acne and other blemishes. Although BB cream was not specifically created for the Asian market, it provided a solution to a common skin problem for many Asians: impure skin. The cream eventually found its way into a broad mainstream market when Korean actresses recommended it publicly.
BB creams come in a variety of different formulations and qualities mainly perceived as being anti-inflammatory, regenerative and having a soothing effect. Some are said to have skin whitening or brightening properties. Others are said to be anti-acne or anti-wrinkle, some are intended to even out skin tone, and yet others to lighten blemish scars. BB creams are sometimes used like a primer under foundation, and if tinted may supposedly replace foundation and some newer ones are advertised as having functions of primer, foundation, moisturizer, sun block, pore minimization and skin refining together, making them an economic skin care solution.
In recent years BB cream has gained a noticeable following for its skin-regenerating functions and is now also widely used in Asia to supposedly provide natural-looking skin coverage. It has been named "the secret of Korean actresses", which gained it large exposure in Asian markets.
With the Gariner BB Cream it comes in 2 shades..
Light/Medium
Medium/Dark
I went for a the lighter one.. I first spotted this at my local Walmart for $12.99.
The tube holds 2.5 oz.. which is a pretty good amount.
Back of product
As you can see its pretty
thick in texture
Even though it comes out thick it feels
pretty wet on the skin when rubbed in.
I moved to some very good light to show you
that it looks pretty natural on my skin.
I really like this.. I find it to be great for the warmer days when I don't want to wear a ton of foundation. I think it sinks into the skin rather nice. I know a lot of people think its best to pat it into the skin, and while I do that at times...I also use a really good buffing brush and really work it into the skin. I don't find the coverage amazing but I think its pretty good. Its not very buildable but I do add a little extra to the places that I feel I need it.
I don't recommend this if you have oily skin because it will be really really make you shine. However, if you have dry skin as I do, its perfect. I also like this product because it does do a really good job of moisturizing. I don't know about the 24 hour claim but it does work well. I do set it with a loose powder. It would be almost impossible to add blush or bronzer without a dusting of powder. I have found that pressed powders just don't work very good. A loose powder does a great job at giving just the right amount of powder still allowing a dewy look to peek through.
This BB Cream does have a strong floral scent as most Garnier products do but for me, its fine. I actually like the smell.
Over all, I am giving this a
B
Becuase I am really liking it right now!
