I had such high hopes for this line. I love the organix shower products so I just assumed I would love the hair care line. I tried some of their haircare products in the past but wasn't really wow'd by them. But I thought I would give it another try... Sadly I must report that this haircare line is just not for me. I think it smells amazing. But after washing and conditioning my hair , and letting it air dry, my hair would become hard, frizzy, tangled and it really felt dry, as it did the first time I tried this hair care line.

The Organix Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner has the same floral-salon scent. Its pretty strong but thankfully when you rinse it out, the fragrance fades extremely quickly to the point where I can’t really smell it anymore, especially after I’ve dried and styled my hair. I don't dry my hair every day. Most of the time I let it air dry and the smell still fades rather fast.

I also found that this shampoo does not really lather well either.  The texture of the shampoo was extremely viscous (it was kinda gross looking, actually), and I needed a ridiculous amount of it to actually distribute it through my hair. (My hair is wavy and very thick.) When I rinsed the shampoo out, it left my hair in zillions of knots and tangles. The conditioner that complements this isn't very complimentary, either, because it did little to tame the horrible mess the shampoo created. I got so frustrated after the I got out of the shower that I got right back in and conditioner my hair with some John Fredia conditioner and was much happier when I got out. I had to leave it in over 10 minutes to reverse the effects of what the Organix shampoo and conditioner did to my hair.

Now about the oil.. The is just the same. It was really heavy on my hair, and instead of giving my hair a sheen it just made my hair look dull and I hated the texture.

So with that all said, I am giving this product a big fat

F
again.. because its exactly how I felt the first time I tried a shampoo and conditioner from this line. While I might really love the shower and bath products, the hair care products are going to stay sitting on the shelf.

Actually, I ended up taking all 3 products back to CVS and got a full refund.

Here is my quick video review...

Have you tried any of the hair care products from this line??

I would love to hear from you.. email me!
