We left the early morning of Friday
It was so foggy...
I actually found it quite beautiful.
Before long it started
clearing up and we were on our way.
It took over 10 hours to get
to Louisiana.
From our trips before, I knew that when I saw these bridges we were not too far off.
Its all marsh lands coming into the state...
and lots of burned trees.

We got all settled into our room.. took showers and headed out to pick up Zane for a quick dinner before he went to the parade with his mother, brother and sisters.
Here he is.. we also took along his
brother too.
Scott and I decided to skip the fast food.. Instead I opted for
room service.
Mom and Don were late getting in. They were stuck in traffic for hours on end. I had fallen asleep when they arrived. So we didn't meet up till the next day.
