Hello!! I have been doing a little around here but today has mostly been about finding hotels for our trip to Mardi Gras. My mom and I both were both working on it.. and we couldn't find hotels that was not $500 a night or booked.
Thankfully we just booked some rooms at the Holiday Inn!!
I wanted the Hampton but there were no rooms available. I am just happy to get in at the Holiday Inn. Indoor pool and hot breakfast with eggs and bacon.. so that will work!
Wow.. should have thought about the crazy hotel situation a little sooner. We are not staying the city.. we are in one of the neighboring city's.. shoot, hotels in the city were over $500 a night.
I have to run out and get some food for dinner. I think I am making potato soup with ham for dinner and serve it up with some yummy warm bread.. Its pretty cold here today so it will be perfect for a late night dinner. Grocery shopping today is out. I will of course, go get some ham for the soup but that's it. I am only getting stuff for tonight. The rest will have to wait for another day. I really want to go to Walmart but yea.. that's not happening today either. Maybe tomorrow.
I am running super behind today. Been online and on the phone most of the day. Guess I am off to get some things for dinner then back to work more around the house.
