Sleepy

Its been a long day. We sat at the hospital most of today..its crazy how sitting around, doing nothing makes you as tired as if you were working all day. His dad looked much better today. He started off with a fever early on but they got him feeling a bit better. He was able to eat a little bit tonight and he had shared a couple egg nog shakes with Marjorie. When I say eat.. its really purred foods and very little of it. Yesterday he wouldn't eat at all hardly but today his appetite was back and he had some color to him. I think he is doing better and that's why they are sending him back to the Nursing home. At first was.. if he makes it through the night.. then it was ...if we keep the infection down and now it seems like he is better. Its scary for them because they don't when the end is coming. He can't move.. he can barley talk.. and he can't hardly eat without getting choked. But with your prayers he is still here with us. I think he was the sweetest man and his eyes are sweet and gentle even now. His wife really does take care of him really well. She feeds him, talks to him and he trusts her more than anyone I think.. Married 40 years so I guess they know the secret huh?

Well tomorrow they are moving him.. His other son is flying in and we are picking him and leaving shortly there after. Scott needs to get home for work, and I have things to do too.. but he wants to make sure someone is here with Marjorie.. so we are waiting.. Plus, I know work is very important but this might be the last time he see's his father so I think the time is better spent here.. with him for now.

After we left the hospital we went to this restaurant ~ Sweet Tomatoes~ and its all bars...Salad bar, soup bar, pizza and pasta bar, bread bar, and dessert bar.. YUMMMM!!! I ate great.. Afterwords we went through a park full of Christmas lights and I made 2 videos of it too. I will get that up after I get back..

Well.. I am sleepy.. have another long day tomorrow.. really long if we drive home. Thank you guys for all the kind words, thoughts and prayers. I think they are working and he is getting better.

BTW.. I really miss those kittens. I keep pictures and I haven't forgot about them. I just haven't uploaded them on my laptop yet, I figure we will be home before I can get them up. They all seem to be doing well. I can't believe they are gone! Got to fix that.. ready for the next litter!!
