In the Kitchen..

I have been having a blast baking around here the past few days! I haven't really been in the kitchen much other than to make dinner. I forgot how much I love baking.. yep.. went to Culinary School for baking and pastry and don't bake anymore. Weird huh!? Well this week has been fun! I have totally had a good time baking some yummy cookies.. and the baking is going to continue till about Monday.

So far I have finished the

Snow Ball Cookies

and the

Raspberry Shortbread Thumbprint Cookies!

They both taste amazing!

Also with the cookie tins.. I was packaging them like this..

on a disc of wax paper right in the cookie tin.. I didn't really care for this.. and last night while I was soaking in a big bubble bath that I needed to

Zip lock them..

So I had to go back through all 10 cookie tins and re due the

snowball cookies..

So got that fixed.. just finished the baggies for the shortbread cookies and next up I have to get them packaged and put up.

Tomorrow is crackle cookie day! Going to make a lot of them because they are one of my all time favorite cookies! I think they should be called Crack Crackle Cookie.. because that's just how good they are!

I am on kinda  break right now. Husby should be leaving work in about 30 minutes. They have sold a lot of cars today. Love that. I also hung up some very cute..

Can you tell I am feeling the Christmas Spirit!?  I am totally loving every minute of the holidays and when everyone gets here, it will be so much fun! I am so on a schedule right now. I was feeling a bit tired and lazy before I started making the raspberry shortbread thumbprints. But I put on some music, tied on my apron.. and went at it. At least I am getting it all done! I think tonight I am going to finish up the sugar scrubs and get them packaged.

I also got some boxes that are just right.. You know the ones you see with the little hand openings I put on here sometimes. I am going to wrap them up on the outside and put all the homemade gifts in them. Its kinda from our Family to yours. I am making total.. and my mom already called me trying to get 2 of them! hahah.. thats too funny! She got 1 .. Did you guys see what came in the mail today? If not click HERE see.. I am totally excited about it!

Well.. need to get ready for husby to get home..bag up the shortbread's and get dinner started. I will post the step by step for the both cookies either late night or tomorrow.. but if you just want the recipes they are RIGHT HERE. Can't wait to make the reindeer cookies!!

We are going to head out to a friends before dinner and then back home to do more Christmas stuff!
