I get more request for purple looks more than any other..And being I love purple.. I try to get as many up on here as possible!
Today's look is a violet inspired look..I tend to want to match my eyes more with what I am wearing than anything else. Sometimes I just wear a natural color that matches anything but I like matching!
For this look I used a variety of products..When it comes to make up..You don't have to have to have the exact same products to get the same look.. Colors that are similar work just as well!
Full violet inspired look..
Up close view..
Here is what I used..
I started out moisturizing my skin with olay regenerist serum and then decided to use this Revlon Custom Creations in # 020 Light/pale..However I dialed it to 3 for a darker shade..I have had this for a while but I never really used much..
Then I used my Gariner Skin Renew Tinted Anti Dark Circle Roller under my eyes.
I love this thing!!
I set my foundation and concealer with the Loreal Hydra Perfect loose powder..
Another one of my favorites..
I warmed up my complexion with the physicians formula bronzer..Remember..if you use a bronzer..you want to use it over most of your face..It looks weird when you just use it just to contour with..So be sure to get your temples into your hair line, cheek bones, chin and neck area.. I added some pink to my cheeks with the physicians formula blush..Both are from the Happy Booster line..
Instead of just using a primer I decided to use this Wet n Wild Idol Eyes Cream Shadow Pencil in # 133 - Tecno which is a pretty purple color! I applied it to my to my lid coming up just a bit to make my eye lid look bigger..
Then I took my MAC compact in ..
6 Beauties Play it cool shadows..I took the top left to use on my lid, in my tear duct area, and for my brow highlight.. I then took the beautiful purple right below it.. and used it in my crease area.. Then I took the darkest color of the pallet and went under my eyes and in the outer v area. Then I went back with the purple shadow ( 1 shadow on left on the bottom ) and went over the black..
Pretty easy to do..Just have to blend! The right brushes help..I use a flat brush on my lids and brow bone..A fluffy blending brush for the contouring and a small pencil brush for the outer v and under my eyes..
I then took the physicians formula gel liner and lined the top of my lids.. Gel is so much easier than liquid liner..So if you are new to applying liner your eyes Gel is the way to go.I also lined my bottom water line..
After I finished my eye make up I took the Garnier Tinted Roller back under my eyes to brighten it up a bit more and to cover up and fall out from the shadows.
I went ahead and used my Cover Girl Lash blast mascara..
2 coats!
and finished my lips off with a Rimmel lipstick in # 140 Dreamy..
and I loved the finished look!
Hope you like it!!
