WHATS ON THE MENU..

THE OTHER NIGHT WE HAD SUCH A GOOD ROAST FOR DINNER. IT WAS SO TENDER AND JUICY..IT WAS ACTUALLY BRAISED IN CORONA BEER...



THE PICTURES ARE NOT FROM THE BEGINNING.. BUT LET ME TRY TO EXPLAIN ALL MY STEPS UP TILL THIS POINT..

I TOOK A NICE BIG PLUMP BEEF ROAST AND JUST SEASONED IT UP WITH SALT, PEPPER, GARLIC POWDER, AND STEAK SEASONING. THEN I ADDED ABOUT 2 CUPS OF BEEF BROTH AND ROASTED IT IN THE OVEN ON 425 FOR 1 HR. FLIPPING IT OVER ONE TIME DURING THAT COOKING PROCESS. THEN I REMOVED IT FROM THE OVEN AND PUT IT ON THE STOVE. I ADDED 2 CORONA BEERS PUT A LID ON IT AND ALLOWED IT TO COOK IN THE JUICES OVER MED HIGH FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES. THEN I PUT IT BACK IN THE OVEN AND COOKED IT ON 250 FOR ABOUT 3 HRS. BASTING THE ROAST EVERY 30 MINUTES..


AND HERE IS WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE FROM THAT POINT ON.. YOU DONT WANT TO PUT YOUR VEGETABLE IN IT UNTIL NOW OTHERWISE THEY WOULD HAVE JUST TURNED TO MUSH..



BUT NOW I ADD POTATOES..



FRESH BABY CARROTS AND A COUPLE OF GARLIC CLOVES..


I STIR IT ALL UP AND KEEP BASTING THE ROAST WHILE THE VEGETABLES COOK..





TOWARDS THE END I EVEN LIKE TO ADD A FEW CHERRY TOMATOES JUST TO MAKE THE SAUCE A LITTLE RICHER..



I ALSO MADE SOME BAKED MAC AND CHEESE..
( MY FAVORITE!!!)



AND DINNER WAS SERVED..AS YOU CAN SEE I SERVED SOME FRESH BREAD WITH HONEY BUTTER AND COTTAGE CHEESE WITH THE ROAST AND VEGGIES..

A GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT DINNER!!
