HERE IS THE STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS FOR THE TURKEY TETRAZZINI..

THIS WAY YOU CAN FOLLOW ALONG....

HERE IS EVERYTHING YOU WILL NEED..HOWEVER I FORGOT TO PUT IN THE 4 TABLESPOONS OF FLOUR IN THE PICTURE! SO BE SURE TO ADD THAT!


FIRST THINGS FIRST..GET YOUR WATER BOILING AND DROP IN YOUR PASTA..COOK AND DRAIN..I AM USING A REGULAR SIZED BOX OF WHEAT PASTA..I DECIDED TO USE WHEAT BECAUSE IT IS MORE HEALTHY AND ITS MORE FILLING...BUT YOU CAN USE ANY KIND YOU WANT..


THEN START BY CLEANING YOUR MUSHROOMS..JUST WIPE THEM OFF WITH A DAMP PAPER TOWEL..


THEN JUST START THINLY SLICING THEM..


I LEFT THEM A LITTLE BIGGER BECAUSE I DONT CARE FOR MUSHROOMS SO I WANTED TO BE ABLE TO PICK THEM OUT EASILY!


MELT 2 TABLESPOONS OF BUTTER IN A NON STICK SKILLET


THEN DROP IN THE MUSHROOMS AND COOK FOR ABOUT 2 MINUTES..


THEN REMOVE THEM FROM THE SKILLET AND SIT THEM ASIDE..


ADD 2 MORE TABLESPOONS OF  BUTTER TO THE SAME SKILLET AND MELT..


THEN ADD 4 TABLESPOONS OF FLOUR


AND WHISK IT TOGETHER


THEN ADD 1 1/2 CUPS OF CHICKEN STOCK TO THE FLOUR AND BUTTER MIXTURE..


AND WHISK IT UNTIL ITS BLENDED..COOK FOR ABOUT A MINUTE OVER MED HEAT UNTIL IT THICKNESS..


THEN REMOVE IT FROM THE HEAT AND POUR IN 1/2 CUP OF MILK OR HEAVY CREAM..( I USED 1 CUP HEAVY CREAM BECAUSE FOR THIS DISH I LIKE A THINNER SAUCE AND MORE OF IT! )


WHISK WELL..


AND SEASON WITH SALT AND PEPPER


ADD IN THE MUSHROOMS


AND THE CUBED TURKEY


THEN BUTTER A CASSEROLE DISH


THEN DO ONE LAYER OF PASTA..


THEN A LAYER OF THE TURKEY AND MUSHROOM MIXTURE..


THEN DO ANOTHER PASTA LAYER


AND THEN ANOTHER LAYER OF THE TURKEY MUSHROOM LAYER AND I TOP WITH A LITTLE BIT OF PASTA..


NEXT TAKE YOUR BREAD CRUMBS AND.. 


MIX WITH SOME PARMESAN CHEESE


AND TOP THE CASSEROLE..


AT THIS POINT IS WHERE YOU WOULD FREEZE IT IF THATS WHAT YOU WANT TO DO..
BUT IF EATING THAT DAY..


DOT WITH YOUR LEFT OVER BUTTER AND PUT IT IN A 350 OVEN FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES.. IF IT DOES NOT BROWN ENOUGH FOR YOU, YOU CAN ALWAYS POP IT UNDER THE BROILER FOR JUST A COUPLE MINUTES..( BE SURE TO KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON IT SO IT DONT BURN!! )


HERE IT IS..SORRY I DIDNT GET A PICTURE OF IT ON THE PLATE..BUT ITS CRUNCHY ON TOP AND CREAMY IN THE MIDDLE..


AND DINNER WAS SERVED...
I SERVED IT WITH GARLIC BREAD AND A GARDEN SALAD..

IT WAS SUPER GOOD..

A GREAT WAY TO USE UP LEFT OVER TURKEY FROM THANKSGIVING..
