ON AUGUST 18TH MY FRIEND BRYAN WAS IN AN MOTORCYCLE WRECK. IT WAS PRETTY BAD.. HE IS STILL IN THE HOSPITAL. I GREW UP FOR MANY YRS AROUND HIM. HE WAS ONE OF MY BROTHERS BEST FRIENDS. HE WAS ALWAYS AROUND AND ALWAYS KIND TO ME. ITS REALLY SAD TO SEE HIM THIS WAY..I GOT THESE PICTURES OFF THE HOSPITAL WEBSITE AND ALSO OFF FACEBOOK. HIS SISTER HAS BEEN KEEPING EVERYONE INFORMED ON HOW HE IS DOING. ITS A HARD TIME FOR HIM AND I AM ASKING TO ANYONE WHO IS READING THIS TO PUT HIM IN YOUR PRAYERS.

HE A DEAR FRIEND AND HE NEEDS ALL THE SUPPORT HE CAN GET.

RESTING..

THIS IS A HUGE CUT ON HIS FOREHEAD. THIS IS WHAT CAN HAPPEN IF YOU DONT WEAR YOUR HELMET.

HERE IS HIS SISTER LOVING ON HIM. SHE HAS BEEN SO WORRIED.

ON DAY 2 HE WAS TEXTING AND FACEBOOKING!

THIS IS WHAT A NURSE WROTE RE HIM..

Our spines are broken up into separate regions with the individual vertebra being numbered starting with 1 Cervical region (top of our necks C1-7) and continues down the spine to the Thoracic region (T1-12) followed by the Lumbar (lower back, L1-5) and finally the Sacral region (tail bones, S1-5). He has a fractured C2 (in neck) and broken T4 (the nipple area in chest) The spine has 3 columns, this is the 3 load-bearing regions, anterior, middle, and posterior. The fracture is only in the anterior region and is classified as a single column fracture and is generally more likely less severe than other possibilities. The fracture is minor enough to not require surgery and just needs a brace to take the "load" off it to heal properly and will hopefully only require an external brace like the other break does in his neck. Very good news! Thank you for that info Brian G.

Bryan has 13 sutures on his forehead starting adjacent to his eyebrows maybe 1 inch or so above them and continues with 38 staples along the center area of his scalp. He had an MRI and a couple of CT's taken and with the MRI (looking at the soft tissues) it doesn't appear to be any internal bleeding or clotting. No known damages to the organs. See folks your prayers are working! It could have been a lot worse! I believe the angels protected him!

Bryan continues to feel pain but is being really strong and winging himself off the morphine, this too is encouraging! He was just fitted for a back brace and we are awaiting orders from the Neuro doctor for his neck injury.

Please continue lifting him up in your prayers and please leave him some encouraging words for he has a long road ahead of him and if he gets down he has a place to look to see just how much he is loved by family and friends.

To everyone reading this, thank you soo much for your support and prayers, it really means a lot to our family as well as Bryan and I know your friendships are treasures to him. It has been amazing to hear from so many expressing their concerns for us all. You are loved by us all and it is you who has lifted our spirits!
