There are so many different uses for honey in skin care. I thought I would share with you all a few different ways you can use it!
HONEY AND TEA TREE FOR ACNE
take one teaspoon honey and mix 2 drops of tea tree oil, apply it on your face and rinse off with lukewarm water after 15-20 minutes, followed by a splash of cold water. Doing this twice a week can help reduce acne..
HONEY AND OLIVE OIL FOR DRY SKIN
Winter can make our skin dry and rough, so why not moisturize it with the ingredients that are natural and wonderful. Mix a teaspoon of honey with 1/3rd teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil and apply. Rinse off with luke warm water after 15-20 minutes, followed by a splash of cold water. You can use this recipe every day to get soft skin..
HONEY AND CUCUMBER FOR SKIN BRIGHTENING
Cucumber is a wonderful skin brightener..It almost immediately brightens up your skin and gives it a subtle glow. When it is mixed with honey it makes a smoothing, brightening and moisturizing effect.
Grate fresh cucumber, squeeze the juice from it, mix with half teaspoon of honey and apply it to your face.. rinse off after 20 minutes..You will see a beautiful glow to your skin afterwards..
HONEY AND VITAMIN E FOR SCARS
Vitamin E and honey is a great combination for scars caused by acne. Pierce one vitamin E gel caplet and mix it with a bit of honey and apply it on the scars..Rinse off after 2 minutes.
HONEY AND ALOE VERA FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
Honey is a very smoothing and so is Aloe Vera. mix one teaspoon of honey with one teaspoon of aloe gel and apply it on your face. It will feel very cool and smoothing. Its good for rosacea and eczema prone skin because it reduces redness and itchiness.
