WHATS ON THE MENU...

LAST NIGHT WE NEEDED SOMETHING QUICK AND FAST BEING IT WAS A LATE NIGHT FOR SCOTT.

INDOOR GRILLED STEAKS, BRUSCHETTA, AND STEAMED ASPARAGUS.


FOR THE BRUSCHETTA I TOOK SOME STORE BOUGHT SLICED FRENCH BREAD, DRIZZLED IT WITH OLIVE OIL AND BROWNED UNDER THE BROILER IN THE OVEN. I TOOK A PIECE OF GARLIC AND RUBBED IT OVER EACH ONE OF THE SLICES. IN THE MEAN TIME I DICED UP SOME FRESH TOMATOES AND SCALLIONS THEN ADDED FRESH BASIL AND PARSLEY. TOPPED THE BREAD WITH SOME FRESH PARMASIAN AND MOZZARELLA. THEN IT WENT BACK IN THE OVEN FOR A MIN OR SO JUST TO MELT THE CHEESE A LITTLE.


I CLEANED UP THE ASPARAGUS, CUT THE WOODY ENDS OFF AND JUST TOSSED IT IN THE STEAMER.

MARINATED THE STEAKS IN SOME OVER THE COUNTER MARINATE AND THEN USED THE INDOOR GRILL PAN TO GRILL THEM UP... ( IT GETS A LITTLE SMOKEY IN THE HOUSE WHEN YOU GRILL INSIDE...BE SURE TO CRACK A WINDOW FIRST)! THESE ARE LITTLE TENDERLOINS. I LIKE RIBEYES BUT THESE ARE QUICKLY BECOMING MY SECOND FAVORITE. THEY ARE TENDER AND NOT TOO BIG..JUST THE RIGHT SIZE FOR SCOTT AND I.



DINNER IS SERVED...

SCOTT LOVES THE BREAD. HE HAS ALWAYS LOVED BRUSCHETTA SO HE ATE LOT OF IT! THE STEAKS AND ASPARAGUS WAS REALLY REALLY GOOD.

I THINK DINNER WAS DONE IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES. IT WAS SUPER GOOD AND WORTH THE LITTLE AMOUNT OF TIME IT TOOK TO PREPARE!
