YELLOW, YELLOW, YELLOW!

Yesterday afternoon my husband and I decided to paint the kitchen..After being here over 2 years now it was really time to fresh things up... I was hoping to just kinda plan for the new paint job and actually start it next weekend..We have a pretty good size kitchen with vaulted ceilings so it requires a lot of work to get it painted..Not to mention, having to move everything away from the walls. A BIG JOB... So then Scott and I head to walmart for only a couple of things and before I knew it we were checking out colors..I have trouble at times making decisions so stand me in front of a thousand colors and I am going to have problems! I kept going to yellow..I still dont know what made me pick bright yellow..But before we knew it we were headed home with yellow paint, and tons of painting supplies.. Scott got painting right away..It was a huge job and instead of moving things out of the kitchen, he just kept scotting them around..There was no room to walk around..He kept going and by midnight he was finished with the walls.. The doors, baseboards, and ceiling need painting too. Still lots to do.. I managed to get the doors painted today..I hung some little yellow curtins and now wish I would have picked some with red in them so soon I am going to be looking for some more curtins. Here is a picture of most of the kitchen done.. Still some things left to do.. I tried to tone down the yellow with some splashes of color like red, orange and even green..We will continue with finishing all the base work and getting the little details all finished.. Over all I think that it looks fresh, bright, and clean..Maybe yellow will help boost the happiness!!!! K Jaggers
