I had a kabbalah class today so that's what this blog going to be about....I started learning about Kabbalah over 3 years ago.I sometimes slack off with doing the homework, but the core principles stay with me rather I am being lazy or not!
I have gotten quite a few questions about why I like Kabbalah..My answer is always the same ~ IT MAKES SENSE TO ME ~. It is the oldest body of spiritual wisdom. It explores the universe, the mysteries of the human heart and soul. Moses, Albert Einstein and Sir Isaac Newton are few of the people who studied Kabbalah in order to understand the spiritual laws of the universe and their effect on the physical world. It is a workable system that is meant to be used, not just learned.
I don't like to talk religion..With Kabbalah I feel strongly..It can be studied in addition to any other sects you are in. You can be a catholic and still study Kabbalah. My beliefs are really simple. I believe in God, the power of prayer, the afterlife, and angles. A lot of the details don't matter to me. With Kabbalah its more of a way of living in this life time. It about creating a better life for yourself. It teaches you to question and test everything. That is how I am already so it just fits.
I take online classes with a study group and also study here in my home on my own. We are not lucky enough to live close to a Kabbalah Centre. On http://www.72.com/ there are many different ways of participating in the Kabbalah community.
Some of the following things are kinda expensive, however the Kabbalah Centre does have a charitable foundation that helps anyone in need. They will help you with classes, events as well as different product and books. If interested in it you should call the Kabbalah Centre at 1-800-KABBALAH and they will be able to help you.
These are the Living Kabbalah System 1, 2, and 3. There are four levels within these systems. Level 1 Life happens to me ~ Level 2 Life Happens by Me ~ Level 3 Life happens through me ~ Level 4 Life happens as me.
There are about 30 Cd's per case. One per day. All meant to be used in addition to your work book.
The cases have all kinds of different study materials within them. The is a work book, notebook, and lots of different things they include to help you study the concepts.
The Cases zip up, and have a handle on the to make them easy to transport around. The first level for the living system is 199.00, the second level is also 199.00 and the 3rd is 299.00. I know this is NOT cheap.. You can find all the things I am showing today on the website. I look at the cost of these study materials just like I would for college. The materials help you to learn and they are not free. But remember they do help people in need. If you cannot afford to purchase something the Kabbalah Centre will help you.
A couple of other things that I find interesting. The RED String book explains to you the power of the red string that a lot of people in Kabbalah wears around their left wrist. ( will explain more in a minute), some great inspirational magnets, and a box of mediation cards.
Todays Kabbalah class was on the red string. I usually wear it but lately I haven't. It fell off and I just never put another one on..Until today. I got more of it out and got it tied to my left wrist. It is more than a symbol of Kabbalah but also a protection in negativity. When you put it on you knot it 7 times while reciting a prayer ( next picture). I know its hard to believe that spiritual protection can actually be transmitted through a simple strand of wool, colored red, worn on ones left wrist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Then of it this way, can movies and television shows actually be transmitted by a simple strand of copper wire, connected to the back of a tv 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? The spiritual and physical technologies both work the same way. Just so you know, red is mentioned all through the bible. Red strings, red blood, and red wine..Red is a signinifant for all kinds of reasons..it has the lowest frequency on the color spectrum, the lowest level f light or extreme negativity. You protect yourself the same way you would when you get a vaccinations. The color red injected into the string is a diluted strain of the negative energy and it in a sense vaccinates you from destructive negative forces of the evil eye. You can read much more about this but it makes me feel better to have it on. I usually don't head back home to Indiana without one tied around my wrist. I feel it is a negative place for me and it brings me a little relief. I believe all things are possible. So maybe some of the theory is possible

This is what the study guides look like for each one of the Living Kabbalah systems. You do the workbook in addition to listening to the Cd's. They are meant to be worked together.
One of the Living kabblah systems came with a miniature copy of the Zohar. It is written in Hebrew but there is lots of information in the back that is meant to helpand inspire you.
Here is another one of the books that came with one of the systems. It is a Kabbalah calender with a section for notes. Pretty interesting book.
So all of this is to show you some of the ways you can start to understand what Kabbalah is and whats its not. If you are interested in learning Kabbalah, you should look into it, as I did. Its very spiritual and all LOVE based. There is no negative thoughts within Kabbalah. None. Its all about for the well being of your soul and life. Its about how you treat others, how you live your life and what the spiritual world holds for us. Its truly a way of life. Its a path, a journey, a positive way of thinking.
