If you saw yesterday's HAUL you would have seen the Revlon Lipsticks I got. I know the lip butters are all the rage right now but I really just like a regular lipstick. I don't like a balm with a tint so much.
So today I am going to talk about the

The 2 colors I got are
Here is the
Rosey Nude
and here is the
Soft Nude.
As you can see, both are neutrals..
Also.. Available in 20 gorgeous shades, including 5 new shades!
Here are the swatches..
The Rosey Nude is on the left and the one on the right is soft nude.
As you can see both are
really neutral..
and here is the soft nude.
I know the lighting with these pictures are not the best. The flash was washing it totally out so these are with out a flash and really don't do the lipsticks justice. The soft nude has to be my favorite out of the two. When you top it with some gloss, it just looks natural and pretty.
These feel very soft and creamy on my lips. Its definitely a moisturizing lipstick which I love. I do think you can build up the color of either of them by adding more and using a lip liner. The darker colors from the line look really pigmented.
I do think these are a little pricey for a lipstick. Most lipsticks are 4 to 4.2 grams, and these are 3.7 grams. However, they do have a really long shelf life and if you find the perfect shade for yourself.. then the price is worth it. I think Soft Nude is one of the best nudes on the market.
I also like the packaging a lot with these. They are rectangular shaped black case with criss cross patterns and the color of the
shade it is on top. It has Revlon embossed on the lipstick bullet. They hold up well in the make up bag and are sturdy to carry around with you.
I own a few other of these lipstick and really really like them.
Overall, I would rate these lipsticks with a
B+
I am not giving it an A because it takes a super super good lipstick to get that grade from me! But these are great and if you have the chance, pick up the soft nude. I really think its the perfect drugstore nude lipstick and would look great on just about anyone!
Have you tried these yet?
Let me know what you think!
