Monday Makeup: Easy Wearable Green Smokey Eye - Video Tutorial -

Hellloooooo friends! I am coming at ya this evening with a tutorial for Monday Makeup. This look is a pretty soft easy wearable green smokey eye. I used mainly drugstore products to keep the costs down and came up with this beautiful fall look!

HUGE .20 Cent CVS HAUL! { Video and Pictures }

 I have been a fan of CVS for a very long time now. Their rewards program is the best of all the drugstores. Most of the summer has been shopping free because we just made a big expensive move, we have lots of bills, and the kids have been sucking the money out of us. Sooooo.. I have stayed out of the store for the most part for 2 months now. Well when we went the other night to get my prescriptions I got a ton of extra care bucks...plus I had a bunch saved up here at home. And then before I went shopping, I got on the hunt for make up coupons. Brittany thought I was nuts with all the coupons but hey.. it worked great and I paid a total of $.20 cents for EVERYTHING! I loved it!  Here's the video of what I picked out!

Saturday CVS Haul - Pictures & Video -

Last night I was in CVS when my manager friend told me she was going to starting marking all the items on the wall down to make room for all the new displays that are taking up so much room. So I knew that no matter what I did today.. it was going to include a trip to my CVS!

Current Polish... Outer Space Nails!!

Last night I decided to go not so neutral and have a little fun with my polish. I created this .. what I am calling my 

Outer Space

look! 

I simply took my 

Wet N Wild Mega Last #218 Blackmail and used it as my base. I did 2 coats.. letting each dry in between... and then topped it with the 

Sally Hansen Gem Crush in #08 Glitz Gal

which is a pretty blackish grey polish with some really pretty rainbow glitter. I did one coat of the glitter on each nail and topped it with 

 Sally Hansen #110 Clear'd for Take Off.. 

And I loved the end result!

Wet n Wild - Private Viewing - Photos & Swatches

Wet n Wild is always a hit or miss for me.. Nothing in between. And this no different! I love nude nail polishes... and when I saw this polish at CVS for $1.99

First, this has a wide, flat ManiCurve Pro Brush is such a great tool. One swipe gets the job done and evenly distributed, too. The polish resists chipping as well as many of the more expensive brands. The color Private Viewing #204B is a nude. Two coats still produce a slightly translucent effect. There is a faint sparkle but this is definitely not a frosted polish. Its very natural.

I really love this polish. This is fairest nude for nails!! I love this shade it's a very nice nude shade that is somewhat sheer but buildable. I used 4 coats on my toes. It's non-streaky,applies well,cheap,and pretty.

So if you love nude polishes.. find this one.. 

Its a great great polish for the money! =)

Wet n Wild Swatches

Let me first say.. I have never been a huge fan of Wet n Wild.  For me, I have found them crumbly giving a lot of fall out and if you happen to drop one.. they are so soft that they will just crumble on you. BUT.. one of my closest girlfriends were raving about these Wet n Wild shadows and really wanted me to try them out. So to the store I went.

Hello! My boys are off swimming and I have a little time to myself.. YEA!!! I thought I would take a few minutes to show you the things I picked up today from CVS. I was so happy to use my extra care bucks. I am trying to be more picky because I have so much make up and storage sucks! I never want to get rid of anything!

Wet n Wild - Saved by the Blue - + Nail Changes..

 Hello friends! 

I guess I should start by saying I AM DONE WITH ACRYLIC NAILS.. at least for 1 full year. I have wore acrylic nails for many many years...and it has done substantial damage the beds of my nails. Today, I had enough.. I took off the acrylics myself. I should have photographed the damage but instead I worked hard on trying to get them cleaned up the best I could.. I did a oil treatment too to help smooth them out a little more. 

One of the things about really long nails ( which my were ) is that color kinda is over whelming. I would never hardly wear any kind of color because it was just too much... at least for me it was always too much. It kinda sucked because I have an insane amount of colorful polish that I never use. 

To top things off.. I have been pretty privileged when it comes to going to the nail salon. I would hate to try to total up how much $ I have actually spent through out the years at the nail salons. To top it off, having my nails done for so long has not helping in my own polishing skills! So please bare with me as I get back into the hang of it! 

With the new changes, I went right into my polishes to find one of the brightest polishes in my collection to wear being my nails are short again. 

After talking with my friend Courtney today about polishes, she kinda put me in the mood for blue! She is loving this color right now so it was my pick! 

I went with the Wet n Wild Saved by the Blue .. 

There are tons of ridges in my nails right now and its going to take months and months to get them smooth and healthy but you can see the blue really stands out. 

I have to say.. I am loving it!

 I haven't wore any color in a while and this very much a switch for me! I think its going to be a lot of fun wearing color again.. Sorry these pictures are not the best but my camera is being repaired and I took them with my camera on my phone.. which is also getting ready to be exchanged. Better pictures coming!

Nails - Wet n Wild # 214 A - CAUGHT RED HANDED

Last night since I was feeling so bad thought what better time to paint my nails.. Wasn't like I was doing much of anything else..

I picked out a " newish " Wet N Wild polish that I had never tried once since buying it..

# 214  - Caught Red Handed -

I am surprised at how well this polish went on and I think its a really pretty red. It has a bit of sparkle to it.. barely even noticeable to the eye. The polish is a more sheer red showing the nail line, and I don't really like that with dark colors. So this is 4 coats of polish with a top coat.

You guys know, I have paid someone for over 5 years to do my nails. I just suck at it but I am getting better!! I didn't mess up hardly at all when painting my nails this color. Should have painted my toe nails this color too but for tonight.. finger nails was it!

Love this color for this time of the year!

Any of you guys tried it yet?? Let me know!!

I STRONGLY SUGGEST PUTTING ON FOUNDATION AFTER SHADOW AND USING A DAMP BRUSH TO APPLY THESE TO YOUR EYES.

I PICKED UP ONE OF WET AND WILDS EYE BROW KITS. IT HAS A WAX AND 2 BROWN SHADES. THE CASE IS KINDA HANDY WITH A MIRROR AT THE SIDE..

IT CAME WITH MINI TWEEZERS AND ALSO A SLANTED BRUSH..

THIS IS PERFECT FOR THE PURSE..

I PICKED UP 2 LIQUID LINERS TO TRY.. I USED THESE TODAY AND WILL LET YOU KNOW WHAT I THINK OF THEM SOON IN A REVIEW..

I NEEDED A NEW SHARPENER AND I THOUGHT THIS EYE LASH CURLER LOOKED INTERESTING TOO. SO WHAT THE HELL...GIVING IT A TRY!

I ALSO PICKED UP THESE 3 SHADOW PENCILS.

THIS CREME PENCILS ARE GREAT TO USE AS A BASE..

AS I WAS WALKING TO THE CASHIER I SAW THIS DUO HANGING UP FOR 4.99 AND THOUGHT IT WAS ALSO WORTH A TRY.

AS YOU CAN SEE IT COMES WITH THE SHADOWS AND ALSO THE MASCARA. REALLY CURIOUS ABOUT THE MASCARA.
