The end of Wedding Weekend!!

Sunday Scott got up much much earlier than I did.. Remember that I said he snored all night.. Yea, that sure made it hard to fall to sleep. He even woke me up 2 or 3 times after I did fall asleep. So I needed to sleep in longer. Our friends, Michael and Courtney also woke up much earlier than we did. So they took off for a fun day in Gatlinburg! I was really happy that they did because they had done everything I asked them to do with coming to this wedding..And I wanted them to have some fun on their own as a family too!

So Scott finally got me up. We headed out to get some food..

This was my lunch and it was really good! Scott had eggs but I didn't get a picture of his!

We then waited around to say bye to the newly weds. We saw them.. congratulated them.. kissed them goodbye and off we went!

We did a lot of shopping.. and then it was time to head home!

It was time to say goodbye to this beautiful little area in the world!

I thought this church was so beautiful

in the middle of town. I loved it.

We headed on down the road..

towards home.

Is this area not just one the most beautiful places on earth?

I Love it.

I wish we could have stopped and got a tour but they were closed being it was Sunday.

And we didn't even see the golden retriever!

We kept going..

taking in the beautiful country side.

I could die here and be happy!

This was one of Scott's favorite areas that we passed. He said it reminded him of Ireland.

We stopped along the way.. did some more shopping and finally got home to our pets!

A Great Day!!

What a long but fun day..

We all rolled out of the bed ...

And headed to brunch!!

After brunch it was time to head to...

And make a day of..

Shopping!! Lots of shopping!

After about 5 hours we headed back to the cabin..

For a nap..

We wanted the baby to lay down for a while too..

Then it was back to out to go to the..

Where we not only ate but shopped too!

We also went up the

mountain on the sky lift...

Then Laura and I were off around Gatlinburg to find the

Purses that we first saw and didn't get.. We found them..

On the way to the car we were told about a black bear that was wondering around Gatlinburg..

So we drive by this hotel and we all saw it!! The police were trying to run it back to the woods..

We were back here..

for more hot tub, resting, and ping pong time..

Had a lot of fun today and now its 215 am and I need some

rest so we can get up tomorrow and get home..

We are heading back to Gatlinburg to get a character picture done before making the drive home.. The kids will be heading home too but where it will take us 3 hours it will take them 5 to 5 1/2. So long drive back for them..

Anyway... having a great time.. Its been a big distraction to dealing with life issues.. such as my ex husband and father.. But. lots going on in our lives right now and we are finally back to just us.. starting tomorrow!! Really happy about. So is Scott... we love the kids but we have been so busy that we are about to fall over.. 2 weeks until the Cruise!!

Arrived...→ Gatlinburg ←

We made it.. We got here to the Smoky Mountains around 830... It took forever trying to find the cabin rental office to get our keys and then it was a even longer drive up a mountain to find the cabin. Wasn't so easy.. But we finally found it!

We quickly unpacked the cars.. got changed and headed out to a late dinner..

Then we were back here enjoying the night in the hot tub!

Its 2 am... I am laying in this beautiful room with the love of my life feeling really blessed for the life we have.

Really simple and really cute. Scott and I have rented these little Gatlinburg cabins before and we always have a great time. We are staying in these for a Friday Evening and Saturday and leave Sunday Morning. Scott's daughter Laura, her fiance Jerred and their daughter are joining us!

Cant wait!!
