Happy Wednesday Friends! It's time for another Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce from over at From This Side of the Pond ....this is always such a fun linkup.. join in anytime! Hope you enjoy!
1. Are we always responsible for our actions? Are there any exceptions?
For the most part, yes we are responsible. I think there are exceptions such as the mentally ill but for the majority of us, our decisions are our own. And each decision along with each mistake we are responsible for. I not only think we are responsible for them by the standards of the law but more importantly the standards of God and learning from those actions and decisions to better our heart and souls.
2. Has anyone from your hometown become famous?
Only in terms of murder but no.
3. January was National Slow Cooker month. Do you own a slow cooker/crock pot? Did you use it last month? What's a favorite dish you make using a slow cooker or crock pot?
I did an entire series of crockpot cooking on my youtube channel.. You can click here to check out all the recipes but I think my favorites would have to be..
4. How do you feel about private companies collecting data about you?
I really don't worry about it much. We are all being watched anyway.. who cares. I just want to feel safe and if that means collecting data, spying, listening to phone calls.. I don't care if its in the interest of national security.
5. The Games of the 2014 Winter Olympics kick off with their opening ceremony this coming Friday....will you be watching? Which Winter Olympic event would you most like to see in person? Have you ever been to Russia? Any desire to go, Olympics or otherwise?
I won't be watching and I wouldn't go to Russia right now on a bet. NO THANK YOU.
6. Share a good or bad sports related memory from your childhood or teen years.
I broke my wrists and ankles probably 10 times between the ages of 6 - 14 due to gymnastics and dance. I still have very delicate ankles and twist them all the time!
7. What's a must have song for you on a work out play list? If you don't work out, run, swim, bike, walk, or anything else that could be construed as 'exercise', then what's a song that motivates you to at least get up off the couch?
Here lately I have just been putting the tv on the music channel and listening to the current hits and it helps to get me up and going when I have things to do. :)
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Last night I felt awful and so thankful that I woke up this morning feeling better. Headaches are the worse and I guess sleep fixed it all. Husby is home and already driving me crazy today though! I hope you all are having a wonderful Wednesday!
I really like this and finding out little about you and how you feel about things that going on in life.
ReplyDeleteMy hubs is home today too, second day this week (out of 3!) he's had to work from home due to weather. We had snow, topped with ice so there was no going to the office. I think most gymnasts tell a similar tale of injury. The sport is rough on the bones!
