Happy Wednesday Friends! Its time for another Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce from over at From This Side of the Pond ....this is always such a fun linkup.. join in anytime! Hope you enjoy
1. It's been said that one small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day. Do you think that's true? Do you find that an easy exercise most mornings? What's something positive you told yourself today? If you missed that boat, what's something positive you could tell yourself tomorrow?
Absolutely I believe that. I read my prayer book as soon as I get up with my coffee. I think it puts me in a better frame of mind for the upcoming day. I also read an evening prayer book before I fall asleep. Today, I told myself no matter what happened yesterday, today will be better. But just in case you want to see what prayer books I read and why I read them enjoy the video below if you like!
2. There will be karaoke at the next party you attend...are you in? Or will you be faking a sore throat?
Gosh I pray there won't be any karaoke. Believe me.. people don't want to hear me sing!
3. January 29th is National Puzzle Day...what's something you've found puzzling recently?
Well yesterday 5.. I repeat 5 light bulbs went out in the same day. I was pretty damn shocked and if you want to hear more about it.. click here.
4. Jigsaw, crossword, acrostic, logic, sudoku, word search...what's your favorite kind of puzzle, and when did you last work one?
5. Recently a writer by the name of Amy Glass ruffled feathers with a post she wrote saying she looks down on young women with husbands and kids and she's not sorry. Among other things, she says women will be equal with men when we stop saying house work and real work are equally important. You can read the whole piece by clicking here.
What say you? Do you think men and women are equal in the 21st century? Why or why not?
I think we are closer to being equal than we ever have been but men are still being paid more than women in the same job situation. So I know we are not equal. I think housewife housework is equally as important because our homes have to be taken care of for our children and families. Everyone has a right to their own opinion but I think that woman needs to rethink what she is saying.
6. What's a product you've noticed in the grocery store that you'd like to try, but haven't yet?
I have been wanting to try the organic all natural uncured hot dogs. I was going to buy them this past week but was scared I wouldn't like them. So I bought my normal hot dogs but maybe sometime soon I will try the more healthy dogs!
Of course it would have to be....
The Cheshire Cat - A perpetually grinning cat who appears and disappears at will. The Cheshire Cat displays a detached, clearheaded logic and explains Wonderland’s madness to Alice.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Yesterday was not a good day for me. I am doing my best to shake it off but I am not happy at all about my broken camera. I plan on going out Friday and getting another. I almost hit our savings to go get another one today but I think telling my husband to not get into the savings for random things and then I do it.. would not be the smartest thing. So I am waiting a couple days using the backups I have. Plus is was freezing here all day yesterday and its not much warmer today. I am just happy to be in my warm house with a fresh day.
Happy Wednesday!

Love your eye makeup! Sorry about your camera-that's a bummer.
