Happy Wednesday Friends! Time for another Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce from over at From This Side of the Pond ....this is always such a fun linkup.. join in anytime! Hope you enjoy!
1. Describe a typical Sunday from your childhood.
Normally Sunday's I would go over to my moms side of the family in the early afternoon. My grandma Mary would always make a big lunch and all the family would come eat and visit! Then I would head back to my dads parents house where I lived to have Sunday dinner and get ready for the next day!
2. How comfortable are you with uncertainty? Explain.
I honestly don't like it. I have learned to accept it because there is nothing I can do to change it but its hard. Its never been easy for me to not know what the outcome is going to be in everything.
3. What have you accomplished recently that might be described as crafty, as in 'arts and crafts' crafty? If crafty doesn't work for you, how about handy? Or both?
I got my Thanksgiving Binder done along with accompanying videos. I guess its more organizational than crafty but that's the last thing I did.
4. Have you ever worked in a 'food place'? What did you take away from the experience?

5. Cold turkey, talk turkey, what a turkey...in recent days, which turkey phrase or idiom best applies to you and why? Click on the word turkey if you need to read more about the meaning behind each phrase.
- Talk Turkey - because I have been going over our Thanksgiving Menus with everyone who is coming to our home for Thanksgiving Dinner!
6. If you could have any one guest join your Thanksgiving dinner table, who would it be?
I am assuming they have to be alive right now but if it doesn't matter I would love to have my grandfather here to enjoy the special day with us. But living people.. well, I would have to pick my husbands brother because I would really like to see them together over the holidays. They have their issues and it will probably be a very long time before things heal up between the both of them.
7. What is one thing you must accomplish today?
I have to accomplish filming my Menu Planning Video. I get so many questions about our grocery budget, how I menu plan, and what tips I have to save money at the grocery. I want to get it up today so it goes along with those videos at the top. The holidays are creeping up on us all, and I hope that the Thanksgiving Pep will help you guys to not feel so overwhelmed and.....I am hoping that the menu planning video that I am working on today will give you all some great tips to save money at the store!
8. Insert your own random thought here
Its COLD here!! I mean really cold and wet. The sun is trying to peek out but I am so thankful for a warm cozy house to be in. I couldn't imagine working out in this weather. I have a bunch of stuff to do around the house today plus I got to work on that menu planning video. So lots to do! I hope you all are having a wonderful Wednesday! I'll be back soon!
Look how organized you are!! I am super impressed :) It's been cold here too - we even had some snow! I am so not ready for winter yet!! Happy Wednesday :)
ReplyDeleteI'm pressed for time right now, but will come back and watch your videos. I have been thinking about making a binder for my daughters with all of our favorite Thanksgiving and Christmas recipes, maybe including old photos too. We'll see if I can get it together and done before Christmas. I think Thanksgiving might be pushing it. Have a great weekend!
