Wednesday Hodgepodge!

   

Happy Wednesday Friends! Time for another Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce from over at From This Side of the Pond ....this is always such a fun linkup.. join in anytime! Hope you enjoy.

1. What's one thing that's still the same about you as when you were young?

I was a planner then and I am a planner now.. and I guess that will probably never change! I remember my first day of 2nd grade. I had my new purple plaid backpack with a new student planner. I remember working so hard and organizing my little planner. I got everything packed up in my backpack.. new pencil case, paper, new notebooks, and the planner. Once I got home that afternoon, I noticed my planner was not in my backpack. I was so upset. I start crying and thankfully my grandmother took me back to school that afternoon to get it. Nothing feels right to me that without a planner or calender! 

2. What's more important-history or science?  Why?

Thats a great question. I keep thinking of Washington DC vs Cancer fighting Scientist. You know what? I think history is very very important but I am going to have to pick Science because its ever changing and always evolving. History really doesn't change. Do you know I was just reading the other day that they are using the AIDS virus to fight cancer? That when they inject the AIDS in the cancer patient, the cancer gets ate up by the AID Virus..which stays dormant within the body. I love history.. but I love how far we have come with science and I think the next generation will have some of the greatest science findings, research and accomplishments ever. 

3. Lima, kidney, string, garbanzo, black, or pinto-your favorite bean?

I like green beans of all sorts.. and I like garbanzo beans a lot too.. but that's about it! 

4. What's something people come to your town to do?

I just moved here.. and have no idea! We have a really nice lake here....but I am pretty sure unless you are visiting family or friends you are limited!

5. When was the last time you were in a meeting? Sum it up for us in five words or less.

Doctor Apt last week. * I don't know if that counts as a meeting but I think it is. We had to sit and talk for a while... then get examined and then check out. It felt like a full appointment to me!

6. What special event would you like a VIP pass to attend?

I would love love love to have a VIP pass to 

 

7. What's one piece of advice you'd give a writer?

Write from the heart and it come naturally.

Its been raining here all morning... right now the TV is out and I am using my phone as a internet hotspot so I can get online. Thankfully we still have electric so I put in a movie in just for the noise. I called the TV people and they are working on it and say by noon it should be up and running again. We'll see! It totally SUCKS being without CNN but I'll catch up later today!
