1. Labor Day (in the US of A) is approaching...what's something you've labored over this year?
Moving. This year we moved a few hours away from our old town and it was a huge job. It took a lot of help from the kids, family, and friends to get us moved. I don't know why.. but this was the hardest move we have ever made.
2. What is one word to describe your 'job' or career?
3. What was your worst or least favorite job ever?
Oh wow.. My least favorite job would have been working for a particular lawyer when I was out of college. I was shocked that he had ever passed the Bar because he really didn't know what he was doing. I did all his work and even showed up for court many many times while he scratched his head in confusion! How does that even happen after all those years of college!?
4. How do you measure contentment?
I would have to say I measure it by how well my family is doing. I can never be happy if I know Scott, Brittany, or Jackson are having problems. My contentment comes from a calm life knowing that we are all ok doing the best we can.
5. Pickles-like or dislike? What is something you eat that requires a pickle? Dill, bread and butter, sweet gherkins...what's your favorite kind of pickle?
I don't like warm pickles.. like on hamburgers but I do like a dill pickle with a cold sandwich!
6. In your current house-town-state, what is it you like living close to?
I am sure you guys are expecting some kind of monument or something but honestly, I like being close to husbys work. He use to have to drive over an hour one way and now its just a few minutes and he's home! It so much nicer because now he is not gone as long. Its also made a huge difference with his attitude.
7. What is one thing on your 'want-to-do' list before summer draws to an official close?
I want to take a trip to the
in Columbia SC. We had plans to go when the big kids were here but it rained and we changed our plans. I still want to go because its such a nice zoo. Last time I went to it was about 6 or 7 years ago...Scott and I was working on the road and instead of going to work that day, I went to the Zoo instead. It was different because it was the first thing I had ever done alone. Of course, I had done some things on my own but never a movie or a trip.. and it was an experience,. I moped around for the first hour or so and then I realized I was at this really nice zoo and I should enjoy it. I learned a lot about myself that day.. and I also got to
feed the Giraffes! I can't wait to go back!

I have been laying in bed writing this post but its time to get up and start my day. YUCK! Actually it should be a pretty nice day at home. I have some housework to do and some videos to work on. I hope you guys all have a wonderful day!

My husband has a long commute to and from work, so I understand what you mean.

I know what you mean about tough moves - I've had several moves in our marriage, and this last one has been (and continues to be) kind of rough! Hang in there... it will get better and soon feel like normal! Go put on some awesome music and get that housework done! :-)
