Before I introduce myself, I want to thank Kisha. She recently found my blog and requested to sponsor it via a blog swap. I am so glad she did! My name is Kaeley and I blog over at My Mind's Lens. My camera is my best friend and goes everywhere with me, just in case I get a chance to use it. I live in the Pacific Northwest and, although my husband and I love to travel, I can't really picture myself living anywhere else. We have talked about the possibility of moving, but currently we live one hour from the ocean and I don't know if I could give up that proximity.
During one of our recent day trips at the beach, I got an idea for a post and decided this would be a great place to share it. So - if you ever find yourself visiting Seaside, Oregon, near the end of the Lewis & Clark Trail, here are some of the places you need to go.

1. This one is obvious...THE BEACH!
Now, don't get me wrong, if I lived near the beach in Cali I would probably love it too, but I really don't think there is a better beach than Seaside. It's BEAUTIFUL on a nice day.

2. Bumper Cars!
Who doesn't love bumper cars?!
*********************************************************************************************
3. Breakfast at Pig'N Pancake
Whenever we stay the night in Seaside, I insist on getting breakfast at Pig'N Pancake. They tend to be really busy on the weekends, but the wait is worth it.
*********************************************************************************************
4. Boat rentals
To be fair, I have never actually done this. But they rent paddle boats, kayaks, and what looks like a big-wheel for the water. They look like fun!

5. Lunch at Dundee's
If you go to Dundee's, get one of their many choices of beers, an order of their chicken strips and finish it off with a doughnut from their shop next door!
*********************************************************************************************
6. Funland!
Whether you have kids, or are a big kid yourself, make sure you check out the arcade on Broadway!
*********************************************************************************************
7. The sweets
You can get a maple and chocolate Twinkie, a variety of truffles or fudge or any kind of Jelly Bellys that you can think of. The Buzz is also one of at least four shops within a two block radius where you can get an assortment of salt water taffy.
Don't forget to get some ice cream...maybe wait a little while after that doughnut.
*********************************************************************************************
8. The Carousel
Sadly, I couldn't convince my husband to go for a ride with me...but these kids were having fun.
*********************************************************************************************
9. Wheel Fun Rentals

Wheel Fun rents bicycles, the surreys pictured above, and even electric cars. I haven't done the surreys before (that's a lot of work!) but the electric cars are fun. Just stay on the right side of the highway!!
*********************************************************************************************
10. The Seaside Trolley
The trolley just started last year and goes around town for just $1. I have seen all of Seaside, but for someone who doesn't know where everything is, this would be a good option.

This is a little longer than my typical guest post....I apologize. I am so glad to be here, though! Thanks again to Kisha. If you are interested in seeing more of my photos, you can find me here:
