I saw this idea a while ago on Pinterest and being I am trying to RUSH us into fall.. I thought I would share it so maybe you can get ready to light up the sidewalk for trick-or-treaters. Now from what I could tell you could make these either temporary where you can reuse the jars or you could make them permanent.
Here is the permanent way..
Take old canning jars {or pickle jars, or baby food jars, the possibilities are endless}
get sterile medical gauze that you can buy at walmart (in the pharmacy section)
and then you paint modge podge
all over the bottle
start at the bottom
and start wrapping
you'll need to put
modge podge between the layers of gauze
you only do one layer of gauze
but slightly overlap each layer
and then when its all how you like it
you paint a layer of modge podge on top of the whole thing really quick
and then glue on googly eyes {I like the big ones on the big bottles}
that's it.
Stretch and fray out the gauze a little to make it a little more messy. Then add candles. Tea lights or battery LED ones. SOOOOO cute!!! and SO easy to make!

But I am going to do the temporary way to save my jars.. I am just going to wrap the gauze and use a little double stick tape to secure it.. Then I will add the eyes.. but I totally agree with the battery Led Tea Lights. That way, you don't have to try to get the wax out of the jars.
