So later this evening.. I got an email asking a question I have already answered before but after I emailed my response.. I figured maybe there are a few new readers who might want to know this.
Here is the question..
I read your blog often, and see your make up hauls. You seem to buy a lot of make up and I am curious how you can afford it being you stay home all the time. Here lately you have been doing daily blog post with new products and I hope you know that not all of us can afford to go shopping every day for ourselves as you do.

At first this question kinda ticked me off because the finances in my home are private.. but I didn't respond right away instead I took some time to think about it first. So here is my answer and thoughts..
First off, I have a husband who works very hard for both of us and spoils me rotten. But in regards to make up.. I shop the sales as much as possible but what has saved me tons of money buying these products is the extra care bucks.. The rewards program is awesome and I tend to buy as much as I can at CVS just for those rewards. Whenever we need something throughout the week, that's where I go. Before long it adds up.. those extra care bucks print on your receipt for you to use on most products in the store. Also there is that little " magic coupon box " that should scan each time you go in for more coupons.. The important thing with this to remember is these are store coupons so you can also use a manufactures coupon with it. Now that equals BIG savings.
I love make up. Its been a passion of myself since I was a little girl. Make up makes all of us feel better about ourselves and gives us confidence and to me.. thats huge perk of it all. I don't just shop for me and do reviews on items for only me to read. Check out the side bar at the popular post and you will see make reviews there. I do them for you as well as for me. I love trying out new things and I like sharing my opinions with you. This lets YOU know what items you might want to splurge on and which ones not to. Yes, I love the make up post a lot..but its more about getting my thoughts on it out into the cyber world so maybe it helps someone else. Its not about bragging or gloating in any way. I am not like that. Most of the make up I feature here is make up that is reasonably priced and sold at places everyone can get to. Not everyone can get to a MAC Counter.. There are a few products that I do use on a daily basis that are higher end.. but I don't really do post on them because a lot of my family and friends can't afford it. So I tend to stick to drug store brands that really do work well for the most part. I use to use only high in foundation.. then I found a few drug store ones that I love and now use both.. depending on the day.
I do not have a job outside the house. I work around here keeping our home and lives together, and I breed cats. Money is tight for us sometimes too. Yes, Scott does well but I am not out spending every penny we have on make up. I know it seems like I bought a lot but tonight's HAUL was less than $ 10.00 because I had extra care bucks I used and coupons.. So please remember while it might look like I am spending thousands.. I am not. I shop the sales, rack up a lot of CVS extra care bucks, and use coupons.
Hope this answers your question about how I afford so much make up. Its a passion of mine and I have a husband who doesn't mind me spending some. I actually try to stick to around $ 20.00 a week.. sometimes more.. sometimes less but its nothing as it seems.
