The balm is in an angled tube with a see through lid.

Most colors from this new line are really sheer. I suggest if you want any kind of color you should get a darker one like..  219 Plush Plum, 418 Caring Coral, and 518 Tender Mauve.

This one I got leaves no color on my lips at all, it was more like applying a clear lip balm.

I have never really liked tinted balms. I think its silly to buy one of these with all the great moisturizing lipsticks out there. I rarely spend money on tinted lip balms. I haven't even tried one of the Revlon Lip Butters because I just don't like them.

These truly are tinted lip balms and less like lipsticks. They are sheer, with the exception of a few colors. They are super moisturizing with a slick kind of feel. Some may like this, some may not.

I do find these very moisturizing, but I just am not that crazy about the over all shades in this line. What I have been doing with this balm is wearing it under and sometimes even on top of my regular lipstick.

I have heard that the Lip Butters are pigmented but still..

I prefer to stick to my lipstick and gloss for the day and my Salma Hayeck Nuance Rose Petal Hydrating Lip Balm for night before bed.

I think for a balm they are pretty nice but just not something I want to waste money on. I have tons of moisturizing lip sticks that work just as well if not better than these.
