Homemade Gifts Under Way!! { SUGAR SCRUBS }

Today was a busy hectic day.. so what better to do than to make some 

SUGAR SCRUBS!!

I started off with the

 Vanilla Brown Sugar Oatmeal Sugar Scrub. 

Pretty easy stuff.. 

Equal parts of

brown and white sugar

1 1/2 cups of oatmeal

add olive oil to the right consistency 

mix well

then I added about 1/2 this bottle of Honey Almond oil 

mixed agian

carefully ladled it into the jars.

I doubled the batch and this made 4 little jars.  

Then I started on the 

Lavender Sleepy Time Sugar Scrub

I took 4 teabags and seeped it in 1 small cup..

I took 4 cups white sugar

in a bowl

Added a bunch of vitamin E oil 

right to the sugar. 

Then added a bunch 

of olive oil 

stirred..

added about 1/2 this bottle of Lavender Essential Oil

Then took the tea

and added about 1/2 of it

stirred well

and put it in 4 little jars. 

Here they are

all done. I recommend wiping the jars off really well then drying them too. The oil in the scrubs can make the jars slippery and also mess up the decorations too.

Then I played around with the packaging.. 

I wrapped the entire jar with a thin red ribbon package like, tied the scoop on the top.. 

Then added a pretty bow

and also on the other side 

has the label on it. 

I am not sure if I am going to decorate them all like this one or not.. I will keep you updated on what I figure out. But at least they are made and now the fun part comes with decorating them!
