As most of you know I have to give up 30 hours of my own time and volunteer due to a suspended license. Its all fixed but in order to avoid points on my license and higher insurance I opted to do the community service to totally make it go away..and of course get my license!! Wasn't happy at all about it at first. I don't work.. haven't in over 10 years but I do think my time is very valuable.
But today.. I finally called and talked to the lady about starting it this week. Its a a retirement home some where a couple city's over.. She was extremely kind.. and asked me if I could start tomorrow at 10 am.. Oy.. I hesitantly said yes.. I asked what she wanted me doing during the time I am spending there. She told me I might be painting a lady's nails.. pouring some juice..and maybe reading to someone.. That all sounds ok.. I can handle it.. and maybe I will meet a person who sparks my interest in something..
Sooo.. up up up tomorrow morning..
