WINE REVIEW..COASTAL ESTATES RIESLING

Friday, October 29, 2010
THE OTHER NIGHT I PICKED UP THIS BOTTLE OF RIESLING. ITS A 2007 COASTAL ESTATES WINE FROM BEAULIEU VINEYARD.

THE BOTTLE SAYS THIS HAS DELICATE  FLAVORS OF APRICOT, PEACH AND PEAR LACED WITH HONEYSUCKLE.

SOUNDS GOOD RIGHT..

IT WASNT AS SWEET AS I LIKE AND IT WAS A BIT ON THE DRYER SIDE...SO THIS IS NOT ONE I AM REALLY CRAZY ABOUT. HOWEVER, MY NEXT GLASS WILL BE BETTER..I AM GOING TO ADD A TABLESPOON OF SIMPLE SYRUP. I KNOW MANY WINE PEOPLE WOULD DIE IF THEY FOUND OUT I ADDED SUGAR BASICALLY TO ANY WINE.. BUT IF I CAN FIX IT AND DRINK IT...THATS WHAT I WILL DO..

SO I WONT BE BUYING THIS AGAIN.

ITS REALLY STRANGE FOR A RIESLING TO BE SO DRY AND NOT SO SWEET..

BUT IF YOU LIKE A DRYER WINE THEN THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!!
