WET AND WARM ESCAPE

The shower tonight was a relaxation heaven tonight. My back was hurting and I just let that hot water pound on my back till every drop of hot water ran out. It felt really, really good. Kinda like a mini escape. It seemed like a long day. I got a lot done. I still have lots on the list but little by little I am trying to get it finished. I dont think there is ever going to be a day that the list is completley checked off..This house is big and a lot to take care of. There are tons of things that need done. Tons of repairs. I guess that is the price we have to pay living in such an old house. I love it but at the same time I hate it. We have a ton of painting that needs to get done and neither of us want to do it. I am thinking about finding some outside help to get it done. Scott dosent always have the extra time it takes to get it all done by himself and I am not too good at house painting. Oil painting...ok...but painting walls is just not my thing. Scott worked till 8 tonight and then we headed out the the sports bar for a quick dinner. He seemed tired and a little grumpy. From what I understand, it was a long day for him. I am afraid tomorrow will not be much better for him. He will be the only manager on the floor so he is for sure going to be busy. I have bills to pay and a few more errands to run. I hate doing paperwork and got a stack of mail a mile high waiting on me. Today I even bought an little accordian file that is about the size of a large envelope. I am hoping it can help me get a little more organized. One thing most people dont know about me is that I never open the mail as quickly as I should. I throw it in a pile and always seem to put off going through it. Its something I want and need to change.It is suppose to be another pretty day tomorrow. Then back to the cool tempatures of the mid 60's. I dont understand our weather. I really wish it would warm up and stay that way for a while. I even had to turn on the air tonight. It was getting so warm in the house that me and the dog were both uncomfortable. And yet next week I will be using the heat..Go figure. I am also getting my hair done tomorrow..I dont know what has happened besides age that would cause me to have grey hair. I hate it.I wouldnt think a
34 yr old would be going grey. My dad went totally silver by 21 so I guess its in my D.N.A. Scott and I are also heading south to see our friend Jeff tomorrow. It should be a nice time. Way too long of a drive though. We can only get together about once a month anymore. We all live so far from eachother. But I am glad we are now making the time to hang out. Well its about time for me to lay back and get some rest. But first going to toss laundry around so it does it job while we sleep. Hope all you had a great day! Talk to you soon.
