I couldn't help myself...I went out and got my 3rd orchid today. I decided I needed one in the downstairs bathroom. This one is more purple than pink. The blooms are just as delicate as all the others. I am just in love with the beauty of these flowers.
I call these orchids my new hopefulls. I hope that each one of them continues to grow and thrive and produce the beautiful flowers for many years.
Today went pretty well. The weather was great. I didn't have Easter dinner until around 7 so I had plenty of time to get things done. I ran errands in the morning, then cleaned up the house, including laundry, and then started dinner at 4. Its 9:40 and I am just sitting down to rest for a bit.. Baby is rubbing my feet right now as I type. My knees and feet are killing me. Just another sign that my body is aging. =(
Its took a couple of days but I am finally caught up on laundry..I takes a lot of time to maintain our laundry. I don't understand it either, because it is just him and me. But we make a lot of laundry I guess.
Tonight for dinner Scott and I had Curt and Ben over. They are always here for dinner. They are both really great. I must say I missed my family today. It seems like everyone is off in their own direction this year. I like it better when we all get together. But I guess my main concern is spending the holiday with baby. He seemed to enjoy his day too. He played golf early in the morning, then rested and enjoyed Easter with friends. Tomorrow is a late day for him. I hate to admit it but I am looking for to Monday. I plan on resting up. Its always quite on Mondays. I know lots of people hate them but its usually a peaceful time of the week for me.
I have been wanting to get a make up review done for you guys but the last couple of days have been pretty busy. Hopefully I will be able to finish it tomorrow. I have a big shipment coming in, in the next few days and that will be a big blog!
I hope everyone had a great time on this Easter day. I am exhausted and ready for long hot bath.
