Today seemed to have plenty of hours in it. It was a pretty good day. I spent the early afternoon out and about shopping and got a great pair of new Nikies for my birthday. Did a little more household shopping and got some new things for the kitchen. I am trying to take advantage of the brightness of the yellow and dress it up with greens and reds. Its pretty bright and cheerful. Studies show that when you are in a yellow room you automatically feel better. I don't know how true that is but it does make you feel happy to be in there. But it has always been my favorite room in the house!
Baby worked late tonight. I hate it when a car deal happens 20 minutes before its time for him to come home. And that's just part of the car life...If they are selling cars, they stay open..No matter how late it is. I am really happy that things are picking up for him at work. They have had a great month. And I couldn't be prouder of how hard he is working. I called him today and it just amazes me how smart he really is...I love listening to him work. Hes right on his game. And he booms in finance..I don't think he likes being stuck behind a desk all the time, but its a great job for him.. It keeps him busy and Scott has so much energy that it takes a detailed job to really keep him from getting bored.
He brought me a new pen home. Its a super nice pen and I really like it. I love when he surprises me with the simple things. We were watching the movie ~ Did you hear about the Morgans ~ when he starting falling asleep on the couch. I sent him to bed and I finished watching the movie..It was cute. Nothing really that special.
I managed to get a lot done around the house today. Tomorrow I plan on cleaning the truck out and washing it, working on laundry, and if I feel like it, working on the upstairs. I still also need to get all the coats washed up and stored away..However, I think I heard on the news that we are suppose to maybe get snow flurries this weekend. It couldn't be possible..Well, lets hope not, anyway.
Hope everyone had a great day.The weather is warming up making all of us feel better.I know I shouldn't do it but I am getting ready start hitting the tanning bed. Its amazing how a tan will hide many flaws. Plus want to look good for summer!
