Christmas in Louisville: Vlogidays December 23 & 24, 2014

Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Monday. I am skipping my Week in Review and just trying to catch this blog of mine up with the Day in the Life Vlogs. I will try to get back tomorrow with a catch up post for this week. I want to get all the holiday vlogs up before I do anything else. 

December 24, 2014: Christmas Eve: This year we were lucky enough to be able to spend Christmas with the kids. My oldest son Jordan did not come celebrate the holidays with us and Scott's youngest son Zane was also unable to be with us. However, we still had Laura, Brittany & Jackson. Plus, the grand babies. I really really hope for at least one Christmas in the future that we can have ALL the kids together during the holidays. It would mean so much to Scott and I both. Anyway, here's a peek into our Christmas Eve. 

We had such a lovely time at Lauras this year. It was kinda different but we didn't care. We just spent time together as a family and that's all that matters. We also had Trina, her husband and grandson Christian with us which made it that more special. Trina and I are extremely close and she means the world to our family. 

December 25, 2014

Christmas eve and day was pretty different for us. Instead of being at home we spent this Christmas in a hotel with the little kids. It gave Brittany and Jackson a little time together. Plus it gave us time together as a family. We stayed up late giggling and telling stories and nothing was sweeter than waking up to them all being together. I loved it.

I wanted the kids to spend Christmas night with their dad. They need time together too. Scott and I took that time to drive around our old neighborhoods seeing how things have changed. It's a weird feeling. No matter how long we have been gone it still feels like home to both of us. I guess that's they way it is for anyone going back to where they grew up. We visited some friends and family and basically feel in the hotel bed exhausted. We needed some rest and boy did we get it! Thank goodness for really good black out curtains at the hotel!

I don't know what I am still doing up.. I am really hurting in my back and I am thinking if I just took some sleeping pills then at least I wouldn't be awake to feel how uncomfortable it is..I hardly ever have back pain but today has really been kinda difficult due to the pain. I can guarantee I will be in bed within 30 minutes..

Besides my back pain today was one of the best days ever.. I cant imagine a better day with Scott than what today was..How blessed I am! I couldn't ask for a better loving husband..who adores me as much as I adore him.. Who would have thought I would be so lucky in love. I had some real losers in my past..and I can only assume that everyone around thought I would never find a long lasting loyal love..Well..God had a bigger dream for me than what I had..and he answered my prayers and sent me a man that I am very very proud of. He once told me I am his biggest addiction..Funny..hes mine too! ♥

The Jaguar drives great! Really smooth and its super comfortable..Another part of my day that was really good! We still need to tint the windows and fix a speaker but I think we got a pretty nice car for a steal!! Of course we put full coverage on it..You could look at this car wrong and it would be expensive..So I think its a good idea to be fully insured, just in case something happens..But its in the garage safe and sound!!

Tomorrow is another late night for Scott..So besides cleaning up around here.. I hope to get some time in on the treadmill...I really need to try to get to be able to run for longer distances. Plus I have a little shopping to do..I should have plenty of time to get it all done before he gets home even if I do sleep in. I really want to get the pantry cleaned out plus get some of the closets picked up and organized..But that might have to wait till over the weekend!

Since I was out running with Scott today I didn't have time to get up..

So here goes..

* I WISH  that today would have lasted a bit longer *

* I WISH that my back was not hurting so badly *

* I WISH that I knew for sure if Gabby was pregnant or not! *

* I WISH that my kids were here this very second *

* I WISH  that I could find a small part time job that inspires me *

* I WISH I had a great chick-fil-a milks shake right

 now *

and my last Wednesday  WISH would be that

* My family and friends on the other side know how much I love and miss them...and I hope they were looking down today with smiles and love for what the day brought ..they forever live in my memories and heart.. I take them every where I go.. *

Now I'm off to bed...

Looooooooooong Day!!

What a long day...
I cant believe I am up blogging right now..
 I am pretty tired and wont be up for long. I started the day at 730 to head out..
So you can only imagine how tired I am!!

I had a great day!!!

We went to Biltmore Estate!!!!

What a beautiful place!!!

Here is baby!!

We really had a great time.. This Estate is HUGE!!!  It was really warm and windy and I looked a mess!! But who cares! We had a great time.. I have a ton of pictures that I will hopefully get up tomorrow! We walked all that way to the house..only to see a sign that says no pictures inside the house.. Huh.. You guys know I don't really listen to crap like that.. So I took pictures..But I had to use my phone...and I took a ton! It was a really neat house..250 rooms..All decorated so beautifully..Very expensive to get into.. 64$ a person but if we wore sports stuff we got 30 off each ticket..So that's what we did.. I think its for March Madness..Thank goodness. I think that's really high..But there is tons to do and see! The only thing that kinda sucked is the gardens were not all bloomed..I think we are planning on going again this summer for a weekend when everything is bloomed and beautiful! And we might end up going with our new friends..

One thing I realized while I was walking MILES today is how out of shape I am..Really hating that..So I am going to really be getting on the treadmill and dusting off some old fitness videos and getting myself a little more in shape! I don't want to look or feel bad so its really time to get motivated..I do eat a lot of sweets and I really got to try to calm down on that! I almost wish my mom was here because she would push me..hard..and I think that's what I need! I just felt so out of shape.. I don't want that..I mean I thought I was going to pass out... Weight Watchers might be a consideration too...I just want to feel better..You would think after quitting smoking ( almost 4 months ago ) I would feel better..Not so..Time to get in shape.. I use to always be in shape..Don't know what really happened..I think I stay busy doing this or doing that..enjoying pastries and cakes and simply not exercising!!! But I have a fancy talking treadmill thanks to mom..And I am going to get my butt on it...TOMORROW..It might hurt at first but I am doing it!!!

I am very THANKFUL for all the great and warm Birthday Wishes on Facebook..I have some amazing friends. Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to say Happy Birthday to me. My mom has been calling for days from London @ 7.00  a minute to keep telling me Happy Birthday! She is the cutest ever..Boxes keep coming in and I'm not allowed to open them yet..Something she ordered me is taking a little long to ship and I guess the other boxes will give it away! I cant wait to see what it is!! She gives awesome gifts!! She emailed me today and told me it shipped and should be here soon!!! Yeaaaaaaaa!!!! =))

I didn't get a chance to do..

So I am doing it now..

** I wish today with Scott would have lasted longer too! **

** I wish I could have really really took good pictures at the Biltmore **

** I wish some people would learn to keep their mouths shut instead of offending people **

( think I might need to work on too! )

** I wish my kids were here celebrating my birthday with me.. mom too! **

** I wish that birthday cake wasn't soooo good with sooo many calories!! **

** And I wish you all a great Thursday! **

Well it was a super long day.. I am heading to bed..

** I wish I had worked more on the calander today..Lots of work to do tonight and tomorrow..**

** I wish the owner of the black dog on our porch would actually take care of their dog **

** I wish I had better storage for house hold items..
